Nice place but very poorly equipped.

We have stayed here in the past a couple of times and the cleaning was included in the overall rate. The kitchen had very limited equipment eg. cooking casseroles, mixing bowls and serving plates. The bath had no soap.

Thank you for your review.
I am sorry about those issues which were disappointing for you. We recently bought 3 units in the old Mitford Hotel - one of them being the self-catering unit, The Crossing, you were booked into, which you now refer to.
We have been slowly but steadily upgrading the units, new bedding, new bathroom door, new stove, new fan, new hair dryer, new rechargeable lanterns, new cupboards, new cutlery and crockery, new panini maker, new microwave, upgraded DStv and Wi-Fi, and our latest and costly purchase, the 3KW inverter to ensure guests have at least TV and Wi-Fi during lengthy loadshedding. I have made a note of those items you mentioned, and will definitely ensure we acquire them at our soonest opportunity. I will follow up as to why the bathroom had no soap. That is unacceptable.
