Description

Mount Everest Guest Farm is a breathtaking farm in the heart of the eastern Free State about 21 km from Harrismith towards Verkykerskop. It is centrally located and is about halfway between Johannesburg and Durban.

Accommodation is offered in free-standing units, with sleeping capacities ranging from 4 to 12 guests. The units are individually furnished and each has its own bathroom fitted with either a shower, or bath, basin, and toilet, fully-equipped kitchens, as well as a braai area. All linen and towels are provided. The water on the farm is safe to drink.

There is safe parking at every chalet and free Wi-Fi throughout the units. Guests in the duplex units have access to a communal lapa that has comfortable couches, and a smart TV where guests can use their own login details, and features a pool table that works with R5 coins for entertainment purposes. There's also a communal braai area that guests have access to.

The farm is home to many species of wildlife, including Lechwe, Blesbok, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Ostrich, Impala, Black and White Impala (Sable), Springbok, and Fallow Deer (Takbok).

Activities on the property include rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and birdwatching.
