Description

Mountain View Safari Lodge is situated in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, 35 km outside Hoedspruit. The privately owned lodge is located on a 21-hectare property, deep in the African bush within the Olifant's River Conservancy.

Mountain View comprises 2 private camp areas with tents, allowing guests to enjoy a sense of privacy and exclusivity. Both tents are solar-powered and are immersed in the lowveld bush with no fences. Both tents offer mountain views.

Guests can relax on the verandah while gazing over the beautiful South African lowveld, enjoy a dip in their own exclusive plunge pool, or even wonder around and explore the bush. The Leadwood Family Tent has been created to cater for a family of 4 or 2 couples travelling together. The Luxury Double Corkwood Tent is a smaller intimate camp, created specifically for 2 guests.

Each tent has a functional kitchen including a fridge and hob, a lounge, dining and seating area, outdoor shower, and a firepit and braai facilities. Undercover parking is also available.

Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve is known for its species of plains game with waterbuck, kudu, nyala, impala, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, bushbuck, duiker and other species. The reserve offers an abundant bird species for the keen birder, and nocturnal wildlife, such as civet cat, genet, honey badger, porcupine, aardvark, and even the caracal. Ndlovumzi roads are ideal for mountain biking, jogging, and walking while enjoying the game in an unspoiled environment.
