Description
Mushi Maningi is a self-catering lodge located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. You can take long walks on the estate, ride the mountain bike trails, or self-drive through the greenbelt on the estate where you can see giraffe, zebra, impala, warthogs, waterbuck and a host of other wildlife and birds. The entrance to the estate is a mere stone's throw from Pick 'n Pay and other convenience shops in the town of Hoedspruit.
This 3-bedroom lodge is able to accommodate 6 people and has much to offer by way of comfort and relaxation. The main bedroom is downstairs and offers a queen-size bed, whilst the 2 upstairs bedrooms each have 2 single beds. All rooms are tastefully decorated, have ceiling fans and the windows are fitted with mosquito screens. The main bedroom downstairs, as well as the bigger upstairs bedroom both have air-conditioning. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, vanity basin and toilet, whilst the downstairs bathroom offers a bath, vanity basin and toilet, and an outdoor shower, perfect for feeling the warm sun on your body as you wash away the stresses of city living.
The unit also comprises an open-plan kitchen, lounge and an outside dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a stove, fridge-freezer and microwave. There’s a choice of classic white dinnerware or the more fun, rustic, enamelware. The dining area is covered and has seating space for 6 people; while the lounge has comfy seating and a TV with selected DStv channels.
Guests can choose from the table top braai or the pit braai, the ideal sport for sitting around a glowing bush fire socialising or just gazing up at the stars. A small plunge pool is available to guests as a welcome relief on those hot summer days.
