Description
Mykonos is a lovely off-the-grid self-catering cottage situated on the working sheep farm, Lamont which is located 31 km outside of Mossel Bay. This is a great option for a couple seeking a romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This secluded cottage can accommodate 2 guests at a time and comprises a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Hot water is provided by a donkey boiler which will be managed by the owners on request. The lounge has comfy seating where guests can relax with a book.
Outside, there is a covered patio with seating, a built-in braai and a private splash pool. A wood-burning hot tub is available at an additional cost. Please note this cottage runs on a generator and should the generator run empty, guests will have to provide their own petrol to get it running again. There are lamps should guests choose to not use the generator.
The location of this cottage is only a short distance away from Gouritsmond and Vleesbaai beaches. A wide variety of outdoor activities that guests can enjoy include hiking, biking, fishing in the Gourits River and many more.
