Very enjoyable bush break, but other lodges offer better experiences.

Thank you very much for your open and constructive feedback explaining that our guide was rushing after a big 5 sighting and not paying attention to the smaller things in the reserve. We had a discussion around the need for a good balanced nature experience with the guide in question and this will not happen again.

Great stay and game viewing.

Positives: great spot with great view and very comfortable and well equipped chalets. Great game drives and the ranger, Barend, was excellent. (Buffalo challenging each other, great lion experience, rhino & elephant interacting, African wild cat among them). Excellent staff: very courteous, friendly and service oriented. Also love the fact that it accommodates only 10 guests. Although I travelled alone I enjoyed the company of the other guests. Thanks, would go again. Negatives: I was in the chalet right next to the lodge so there was not much privacy in the sitting room or the deck areas of the chalet. I feel that the bathtub should have been the other way round to afford viewing from the great window in the bathroom. The food while excellently prepared and presented was a bit low budget: chicken Kiev one night and only chicken thighs, wors and lamb kebabs served on the boma night. Kingklip was the meat of choice on the third night; however breakfast and lunch were great.
