Description

Oceanic is a lovely self-catering beachfront house in Elands Bay on the West Coast offering direct beach access, stunning views of the ocean and the Bobbejaan Mountain from all bedrooms, and is 400 meters away from the shops and restaurants.

All bedrooms have a sea view and have ceiling fans. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third has 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. All linens and bath towels are provided, but guests are required to bring along their own beach towels.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer with a built-in water cooler and dispenser, microwave, smoothie blender, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and braai utensils as well as ample cupboard space for groceries. The living area features comfortable couches, ceiling fans, a flat-screen smart TV with a full premium selection of DStv channels, a large dining table with ample seating, kitchen countertop chairs an indoor fireplace/braai and an outdoor patio braai. During load-shedding, a coffee plunger and stovetop kettle can be found in the cupboard close to the gas stove as well as rechargeable torches in each bedroom and in the kitchen. The lounge and the long sea-facing patio areas offer uninterrupted views of the ocean and Bobbejaan Mountain, an outdoor table and chairs are provided for guests to enjoy the view of the sun setting over the Bobbejaan Mountain and the sound of the waves of the sea.

The house has an open front lawn area (ideal for the kids to play in) ample parking space for more than one vehicle and trailers and is secured with an armed response alarm system. It is 400 m from the main swimming beach entrance, restaurants, shops, museum and the local bar.

Elands Bay is well-known for its fantastic surfing opportunities and is a popular coastal town known for the natural wonders of Verlorenvlei, the river mouth and its clean, untouched white beach that stretches for kilometres.
