Pleasant stay.

A very pleasant stopover.

We were comfortable. Rooms are basic but warm. No WiFi. No TV in the rooms. No courtesy fridge or coffee stand in the room. There was a lounge area on the landing where tea and coffee were available. Our host was amazing and prepared to go the extra mile for whatever we needed. The hotel is one of the oldest buildings in town but well cared for and clean, beautifully furnished in an old style. Must have been a vibrant stopover for travellers in bygone days. Location is on the outskirts of town accessible by gravel roads.

I don't think they are up to the standard that I am used to.

No complimentary coffee and tea in the room, no WiFi, no soap in the bathroom (I was fortunate enough to have my own), no TV or TV room or lounge.

Outside clean, fresh and enticing, inside a very different story.

Unfortunately, the owner was away and we were the only guests. The lady left in charge did her best, but much was lacking. Rooms need urgent refurbishment, such as new linen, curtains and towels. No soap or shampoo was provided, and only coffee was offered.
