A good place for peace and quiet.

Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was clean and neat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and attended to our special requests. Just a note to anyone travelling by motorcycle, the access road to Old Thomas River Historical Village is not in a good condition, i.e. very corrugated and sandy in places. Obviously, this is not the fault of the establishment, but just something to keep in mind.

Fantastiese atmosfeer, vriendelike eienaars, alles was perfek, baie moeite vir ons gemaak.

Ons het baie tuis gevoel, al het ons laat die aand gearriveer het. Hulle het vir ons gewag en aangebied om vir die kinders kos voor te berei toe ons sê ons gaan nou braai. Kamers was goed ingerig en skoon. Heerlik geslaap en hul het vir ons kospakkies voorberei vir ontbyt wat baie lekker was. Hulle het vir die leerlinge beddens in die backpackers gereed gehad met beddegoed. Die verblyf en geselsskap was iets om te onthou, 'n goeie memory.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly owners, everything was perfect, made a lot of effort for us.

We felt very much at home, even though we arrived late in the evening. They waited for us and offered to prepare food for the children when we said we were going to have a barbecue. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Had a great sleep and they prepared food packages for us for breakfast which was very nice. They had beds ready for the students in the backpackers with bedding. The stay and company was something to remember, a good memory.
