Oom Hendrik se Huisie is a self-catering cottage that is situated on the Marthinusrust Farm. This accommodation is ideal for guests who want a tranquil overnight stay with a homely atmosphere.
This cottage can sleep up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. There’s also a separate toilet. Linen is provided, but not towels.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, toaster, microwave, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The kitchen counter also doubles as a dining table with chairs and the living area is furnished with a double sleeper couch that can sleep children or younger guests. There is a mobile braai drum outside and guests have access to the garden area and may walk to the dam as well. Secure parking is available on the premises. Firewood can be bought on the farm. Guests are welcome to drive around on the farm using a 4x4 or motorbike. There is also a veld braai camp on the farm if guests want to braai in nature.
