I ended my stay within 30 minutes and left this place. The "Receptionist" is the owner's daughter who opened the door for us in her oversized sweatpants and slippers. The outer room is the servant's room which has been converted - and not terribly well done. There weren't even burglar bars in front of the windows! The finish was bad, the toilet bowl was broken, there was no air conditioner or fan. After I insisted, a fan was provided. The WiFi was offered with an MTN dongle. There was no kettle, cups etc. not. The pool was half empty, the water dirty, and the tiles around the pool were broken and dangerous. The garage doors' cars were broken and had to be opened and held by hand to drive in. There was plenty of parking as the owner's car had broken down and was due to be repaired on Monday - as were the pool pump and the garage door motors! We would have stayed there for six nights, but decided within 30 minutes that this place was not for us!

The room is equipped with burglar bars on the door and backed by a comprehensive security system provided by Fidelity, which includes CCTVs, ensuring 24/7 protection. Our shared kitchen is fully stocked with crockery and pots for all guests to use, as outlined in our property description. Additionally, the pool is temporarily unavailable for use because it's undergoing maintenance or cleaning, as mentioned on LekkeSlaap.

Regarding the WiFi issue, the Telkom network line was down citywide, but we promptly provided an MTN dongle as an alternative. We can't control external network issues but strive to mitigate any inconveniences.

The manual operation of our garage doors resulted from motor issues due to countrywide load shedding - a reality we all face. Our property remains consistent with the advertised description.

As for your past complaint about the paint colour, it's unreasonable to equate personal preference with cleanliness. Other guests have appreciated the room, especially for its privacy.
