Osfontein Antieke Klip Guesthouses and Treehouse
Description
The Corbelled House can accommodate up to 5 guests and contains 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The 2 rooms share a bathroom that is fitted with a hot water shower, flush toilet, and basin. Linen and towels are provided. The kitchenette is equipped with a small electric 2-plate stove and mini-oven, a fridge-freezer combination as well as all the necessary cutlery and crockery. An original fireplace can be found inside the house, which now serves as a braai facility. Candles are used for lighting so as not to spoil the atmosphere of this unique experience, however, electricity supply is still available.

- Karoo lamb chops can be bought at the farmhouse.
- Firewood is available for sale.
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at no additional charge, however we ask that dogs not be allowed on the furniture. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended, and need to be under control and not chase the farm animals.
- Please note that there is a 7 km gravel road leading to the accommodation. It is in good condition and accessible by sedan cars.
- The swimming pool water is also used occasionally to water the trees, and will be topped up again with borehole water and kept clean.
- Access to the Treehouse is via stairs, and it is therefore not suitable for guests with disabilities.
- The Treehouse is more suitable to stay in spring, summer and autumn, as the winters are very cold.

Description
The Old Stone House was resourcefully furnished with handmade items such as the kitchen sink which was made from an old copper geyser, the washstand which is an old wine vat, and the shower heads which are made from the old copper balls that formed part of trough valves. The house can accommodate up to 5 guests. The bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. There are 2 single beds in the living area. The beds are old iron beds with wonderful new mattresses to ensure a good night's sleep. The house has an indoor shower, a toilet and a washbasin as well as an outdoor shower. The living area contains a 5-seater dining table, and a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate stove and mini oven, a fridge, a kettle, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. The lovely indoor stone fireplace can double as a braai facility during those cold winter nights. In fair weather, guests can spend their evenings next to the outdoor braai facility and savour the splendour of the star-crowded Karoo sky. The little house has an electricity supply.

This Treehouse is a luxury safari tent built on a wooden deck between the trees and in the shade. The Treehouse offers absolute silence of the Karoo with magnificent views from the balcony over the fields and hills. The tent can accommodate 2 guests and contains a double bed and a private bathroom fitted with a hot water shower, washbasin, and a toilet. There is also an electricity supply to the tent. The tent is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. Outside, there is a deck built in poplar forest trees of about 150 to 200 years old. Downstairs, there is a private braai facility. The tent is only a few steps from the pool.
