Description

Oshoek River Farm offers unique rustic self-catering accommodation situated on The Borain Family Farm which is approximately 4 km outside of Vermaaklikheid. This could be an ideal option for a getaway with family and friends as it is situated along the banks of the tidal Duiwenhoks River.

This accommodation offers guests a 3-sleeper wooden cabin that comprises a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed as well as a single bed in the lounge area. Guests make use of a shared outdoor bathroom fitted with open-air showers. Linen is provided; however, guests are required to bring their own towels.

The cabin includes a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, cutlery and crockery as well as a solar-powered fridge. All guests have full access to an outdoor kitchen which has an additional 2-plate gas stove and a central breakfast table. Additionally, there is a central braai area and fire pit where guests can gather around in the evening. A 2-sleeper caravan and camping sites are also available on request and need to be arranged with the hosts.

This farm is on the banks of the river where guests can have a quick dip or catch some fish. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat and tie it up to the jetty. A canoe is also available to rent if guests wish to explore the river.
