Stunning place

This was a real treat, lovely camping sites with ample space and clean and tidy bathrooms. The lodge area is beautiful and the coffee we had with the cake platter was really very good. Would recommend this place for overnight or longer staying.

Kampterrein was baie netjies en goed ingerig en het aan al ons behoeftes voldoen.

Ons het met twee kampwaens oornag by Otjiwa oppad na Sesriem. Fasiliteite en geriewe was baie netjies en ons het lekker gekuier. Beslis aan te beveel.

Kamp met uitsig op dammetjie.

Ons het twee nagte op kampplek 3 gekamp met 'n mooi uitsig oor die waterpoel. Dit het vir my die beste plek gelyk, op wandelafstand van die bar en restaurant (lekker geëet hier). Dis jammer daar 's nie selfdrive-moontlikheid nie, maar teen betaling is daar wildkykaktiwiteite in die area. Die gemeenskaplike ablusiegeriewe was skoon, en elke kampplek het sy eie braaiplek. Die onbetroubare WiFi-verbinding (eintlik was daar nie rerig WiFi nie) het ons gepla omdat ons by Otjiwa wou in-check vir ons vlugte België toe.

We camped for two nights at campsite 3 with a nice view of the water pool. It seemed the best place to me, within walking distance of the bar and restaurant (had a nice meal here). It's a shame there's no self-drive option, but for a fee there are wildlife watching activities in the area. The communal ablution facilities were clean, and each campsite has its own braai area. The unreliable WiFi connection (actually there was no WiFi at all) bothered us because we wanted to check-in at Otjiwa for our flights to Belgium.

'n Baie mooi omgewing om te kamp en die natuur te beleef.

Ek en my man het gekamp, die "oop" ablusiegeriewe was bietjie ongerieflik omdat dit baie winderig was en baie koud, andersins sou dit baie aangename ondervinding wees om onder die sterre in 'n stort te staan! Die kampeerareas is ongelooflik netjies en skoon, so ook die ablusiegeriewe. Ons sou gewis langer wou kamp. Die kostes van die wildrit het ons bietjie afgesit, ons verkies om met ons eie voertuig, op ons eie tyd, die wild te besigtig.
