Disappointing.

Our stay at Our Happy Place was a disappointment. The house is really beautiful, has amazing views, and is clean, but there were issues during our stay or misleading information on the website which would not make us return. The issues/misleading info included: 1- There is only aircon in two bedrooms. The website states the house is fully air conditioned. 2- The website is not clear that two of the bedrooms do not have any curtains. Only one room has curtains and aircon, and this is not even the main bedroom. 3- The website states the house has full back up power. The inverter to the back up power was broken, and we were only told it was broken during a power cut when we asked. We were not informed about the situation before our arrival. 4- Certain items did not exist in the house which you would expect in a house of this standard, such as a hairdryer, bins in the bathrooms, an umbrella, and plugs next to the bed to plug the lamp that has been situated next to the bed.

Excellent choice for a large family reunion for the Christmas season.

We had a very comfortable stay, the accommodation was very well equipped, we were short of nothing. We absolutely would have loved to stay longer.
