This place is the key to a gem of a town that is far more than the Owl House only.

Wonderful quiet position with very easy access to town (propper) over the suspension bridge. Very simple basic comfortable room. Friendly hospitable townsfolk. Excellent managers/hosts 110% for their communication.

Since we started traveling in 1995, we've stayed at loads of fantastic (and some not so fantastic) self catering establishments. Well, Paradise in New Bethesda overshadows them all. What an outstanding self-catering house! Firstly, the 1870s house has been impressively renovated, all done to the correctness of the period, enormous wooden beams, thatched ceilings in some rooms, plastered ceilings in others, smooth colored plastered walls, the wooden floors, the wooden doors and windows all carefully restored with period-correct finishing and ironware. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and have mosquito nets and air conditioning, with electric blankets for winter, beds are soft with snow white linen. The quality of bathroom fittings is of the highest standard and the kitchen is equipped with appliances and fittings that belong in a gourmet kitchen, complete with a high quality, modern wood burning stove. The mix of stylish and top class modern furniture and antique furniture flows well and is beautifully decorated. Everything was perfect.

This was a beautiful home with lots of space and all the facilities you require. Lovely outside areas, perfect for catch ups with friends and family. It is within short walking distance of the attractions of Nieu-Bethesda. Both host, owner and staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
