Description
Situated on the banks of the Houtbosloop River, Pecan Hut is a cosy stone cottage with lovely warm features and could be an ideal option for a romantic getaway. It is conveniently situated within walking distance from the Sudwala caves and the Mankele campsite.
This cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 guests at a time and comprises a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The spacious bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The living area features a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchenette is a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace which is an ideal spot to read a book.
Outside, there is a covered patio with outdoor seating and a built-in braai where guests can enjoy a sundowner while the fire is burning. Guests can enjoy on-site activities such as bird watching, hiking and swimming in the river at their own risk.
Activities nearby include the Sudwala Lodge and Caves, Mankele Campsite which has a variety of adrenaline activities, cycling and mountain biking. The location of this property is 80 km from the Kruger National Park as well as 30 km from Sabie and Nelspruit.
