We employ both male and female cleaning staff. The mess you left, with clothes strewn from the front door and right throughout the room, was a bit disrespectful to the cleaning staff, and neither of my cleaning staff was comfortable with having to pick it all up.
The housekeeping staff are not maids and are not there to clean after the guest; they only clean and maintain the unit. They have a certain number of rooms to clean within a set period, and guests leaving a big mess does not make their jobs easier.

Lovely place to stay at with that (homey) feeling. Home away from home if I may say, the rooms were perfect with everything one could need.

Nick and Sharon are fantastic hosts! Off the bat Nic made us feel welcome, Sharon was the perfect hostess, warm and very welcoming, they are indeed a perfect pair. We all enjoyed Nic's famous breakfasts. Overall the establishment is very central and close to all amenities that we needed and completely secured. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back.

Was nice.

PE Guesthouse is a very nice place to stay with excellent breakfast. Clean but can give attention to shower in room 1 that is mouldy and the drain is blocked. We used the bath in stead of the shower. Overall it was a very nice stay. Will recommend it.
