Peaceful, tranquil.

What an absolute tranquil place to unwind after a hectic year. The accommodation is perfect and comfortable. A few things to note though: the pool is not near the accommodation, so you need to use your car. Also, the roads on the farm should be upgraded to ensure that a normal city car is not damaged in any way. The pool area could also be uplifted. But overall, a lovely stay. Will recommend it.

Amazing, great location. Very quiet.

Nice, comfortable house with fully equipped kitchen en great braai.

Two points of attention: We were surprised about the swimming pool. The swimming pool didn't look very inviting or neat and clean. So we were very disappointed about that because I filtered especially on braai and swimming pool. It was a steep downhill walk to the swimming pool. Our friends woke up every morning very early due to the absence of curtains on the first-floor bedroom and a very early sunrise!

I loved the accommodation, that was perfect, but the gravel road getting there was terrible.

You basically need a 4 by 4 to travel on those roads. Going to town or even going to the swimming pool was a major effort as the roads were so terrible. We could only use the swimming pool for 2 of the 4 days we were there as they threw HTH in during the day! That was disappointing.

Dear Wahiebah, thank you so much for your booking and staying with us out Protea Ridge. We are in the process of laying bricks on the road leading to the house, however, the road as it is is easily accessible with a city car. Guests are just advised to drive slowly. I am also sorry to hear about the swimming pool being treated while you were staying. Unfortunately, due to load shedding the pool pump is not working as it should and therefore do we need to keep treating the water to keep it clear. It was just unfortunate that cleaning took place during your stay, but as I said, this is out of our hands. Thank you again. Deon

This stay was amazing. Very beautiful place and we had a wonderful time.

Will definitely recommend this place. The views are impeccable. You should consider putting in a ping pong table or foosball table upstairs.
