Charming, beautiful and delightful.

I had a lovely stay in a cosy cottage, with attention to detail. Filter coffee, tissues, special shower gel and shampoo, beautiful linen, electric blanket and so much more. Breakfast was served in the most beautiful, warm dining room set in an old twenties house. I felt very special. Helen is just lovely as a hostess. What a wonderful discovery, will certainly be back. Parkview also has a beautiful village feel. Highly recommended.

True hospitality.

Helen and Darryl were the perfect hosts. The considerate message to welcome me and arrange my arrival time was a clear indication of a peasant stay. And that is exactly what it was. Stylish, clean accommodation, safe environment and a scrumptious breakfast with good company. The filter coffee in the room was a nice surprise and very welcome. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing with an breathtaking garden.

Remote Corner exceeded our expectations by far. Not only were we welcomed by the most beautiful garden and crisp clean cottage which are furnished and decorated very tastefully, but also by two wonderful and friendly hosts. The breakfast was divine and the attention to detail with the table setting, and also around every corner was perfect. We will definitely book our stay at Remote Corner again, in the future.

Skoon, netjies en veilig.

Ons het vir besigheid opgevlieg vanaf Kaapstad tot Johannesburg. Ek het 'n veilige plekkie gesoek vir my en my besigheidsvennoot om elkeen ons eie aparte kamers met en suite-badkamers te hê en veilige parkering vir ons lughawe-gehuurde karretjie. Helen en haar man het ons vriendelik ontvang, en ons verblyf was meer as wat ons voor kon gevra het. Pynlik netjies en skoon, die tuin voel asof jy in 'n sprokieswêreld is en al die geriewe was tot ons beskikking. Elke oggend die heerlikste ontbyt aangebied en ons het met die intrapslag tuis en gemaklik gevoel. 'n Regte juweel in die middestad.

Skoon, still, veilig en alles wat jy nodig het in 'n selfsorg-eenheid.

Huis weg van die huis af.

Ongelooflik gerieflik. Bly altyd lekker.

Snoesig. Gemaklik.

Dis so gemaklik ingerig met alles wat jy nodig kan hê. Was 'n yskoue dag maar die verwarmer, komberse en elektriese kombers het gemaak dat mens dit nie eens weet nie.

Het lekker gebly, het veilig gevoel, eienaars was vriendelik.

Ek sal enige tyd weer by Remote Corner oorbly as ek in daai area verblyf moet kry, ek is vriendelik ontvang, hulle is baie gasvry, baie behulpsaam, dit was 'n plesier om daar te kon bly. Hulle is 2 pragtige mense.

Baie lekker gekuier,

Die eienaars is baie vriendelik. Sal enige tyd weer daar bly as ek in die area is. Waarde vir geld, veilig om daar te bly.

Beautiful place, tranquil and central.

We stayed here with 2 small kids. The garden is perfect and the unit was great for us all. The attention to detail and kindness was exceptional. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Heerlik, rustig, gemaklik.

Sentraal en vriendelike diens. Daar is 'n Pragtige tuin.

Die eienaar was baie tegemoedkomend, sy en haar egenoot het uit hul pad gegaan om ons verblyf so gemaaklik te maak vir ons.

Die plek was bo my verwagting baie skoon en netjies, met Johannesburg se gewoel kon ons skemer deur die strate stap, die plek verbasend stil, serkuriteit was om elke hoek sigbaar, ek glo ek sal die plek vir elke vriend/e aanbeveel. Die plek is pragtig omskep in 'n regte paradys.

Kamer en diens was besonders.

Kamer is mooi en skoon. Daar is alles wat jy nodig het. Die tuin is pragtig en die swembad is groot.

Die gastehuis is skoon en netjies.

Ek kan Remote Corner aanbeveel vir almal! Dit was soos 'n vakansie. Baie dankie. Ons verblyf was van hoogstaande gehalte. Hoop om gou weer by julle oor te bly.

Peaceful and quiet. Lovely place!

Units are surrounded by lush English gardens. Big swimming pool, beautiful English decor, very clean. Owners are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here if I come to Joburg again.

Die mees georganiseerde eienares Helen. My vroeg geWhatsApp om te hoor wat my planne is. Die mooiste oulikste huisies en kamers. Dit voel so eg Europees maar heerlik modern.

Pragtig, netjies en rustig.

Remote Corner is 'n pragtige en netjiese plek. Ons het ongelooflik lekker daar oorgebly en als wat jy benodig is by jou en vreeslik lekker ontspan. Heerlike ontbyt gehad op die stoep en die gasvryheid is fantasties. Die area waarin hul geleë is, is ook pragtig en ideal geleë.

Our hosts were amazing. Excellent place to stay! I will surely visit again and recommend it to anyone. Not only was the room inviting and clean, but also had everything we needed to keep us warm. Lovely cottages and spacious rooms. Everything was very neat. Welcomed by very friendly owner and their friendly dog. Quiet and beautiful gardens. Location great for work purposes and close enough to great restaurants. Very safe and delicious breakfast.

Beautiful B&B with warm friendly hospitality.

We stayed two times in the Remote Corner in the beginning of November and at the end of November. Helen and Darryl are warm friendly hosts. Always interested in our day activities. The rooms are warm decorated and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The garden is a place of peace in the big city. Ons was baie tevrede met die diens wat ons gekry het - die eienaars was baie vriendelik en die eenheid waarin ons gebly het was baie netjies, ruim en het ons verwagtinge oortref. Ek sal Remote Corner met 'n geruste hart aanbeveel vir enige iemand.

Daar was gedurig kontak en baie goeie aanwysings. Heerlik om na n veeleisende dag by so n plekkie te kon aankom. Die egpaar, Helen en Darrel, is vriendelik en ons het dadelik tuis gevoel. Die tuin was vir my so mooi. Ek sal definitief mense aanbeveel en weer as nodig daarheen gaan.

Baie oulike, netjiese en beskostigbare akkommodasie. Netjiese onderhoud met alles wat 'n mens moontlik sou wou nodig hê in die kamer. Heerlike ontbyt op die pragtige stoep in die oase van 'n tuin. Baie vriendelike en behulpsame eienaars.

Hartsmense met die pragtigste tuin!

Wonderlike blyplek met vriendelike en hartelike diens! Naby aan al die lekkerste koffiewinkels! Helen en Darryl het waarlik uit hul pad uitgegaan om ons welkom en gemaklik te laat voel.

Die gasvryheid was absoluut wonderlik. Hulle het uit hulle pad gegaan om dit so lekker as moontlik te maak. Dit was stil, skoon en gemaklik.

Peaceful, tranquil, outstanding value for money.

I was very pleased with the pretty garden setting, the super clean accommodation with everything one could ask for from the kitchen, with appliances, bedrooms with warm linen and comfortable beds, sufficient heating, tables, neat lounge area. Breakfast was lovely and owners very helpful especially in recommending Christopher to collect me from Rosebank Gautrain and take me to Wits early the following morning. Thank you, this was value for money, very comfortable and I would have enjoyed staying longer.

Was a quick trip to scary Jhb, but then it turned out not scary at all. Very safe and lovely area, was close to where we had to be. Hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be booking at Remote Corner again.

Comfortable and cozy - home away from home!

This was exactly what I wanted to come home to that evening. Slept so well and the bath was fantastic after a long day's journey. Would gladly recommend Remote Corner and looking forward to relax there again.

Very pleasant experience. Parkview is a quite area in the midst of the city, easy access to hospital with moderate traffic.

From our arrival until departure Helen and Darrell made the experience wonderful. Their personal interest into detail and their approach to every guest is well appreciated. Great stay,close to Charlotte Maxete Hospital, hardly any traffic to negotiate in peak times.

A perfect balance of comfort and attention that was neither pretentious nor intrusive.

Remote Corner ticked all the boxes of a good B&B for me. My accommodation was private, quiet and comfortable. The location was central to all my destinations and easily accessible from the highways. The hosts have supplied all one's safety, eating and living needs with thoughtfulness and simplicity. Most of all, the rates are attractive and will ensure my return.
