Description
Riptide Holiday Flat is a modern self-catering apartment located in the Rip Tide Gardens complex. The apartment is set on the riverfront of the Kowie River in Port Alfred.
The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms. The first and third bedrooms are furnished with two single beds in each, and the second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower-over-bath, a toilet, and a washbasin upstairs.
Downstairs on the ground floor, there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, as well as a shower and a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, and other small appliances. The dining table seats 6. The comfortable lounge contains a TV with the option to bring your own DStv decoder.
The river is viewable from all areas of the ground floor.
The ground floor has stacking doors that open to a shaded patio with deck chairs and braai facilities. The patio leads onto the lawn some 15 m from the riverbank.
One jetty is available for those who have motorboats. The river is suitable for boating for some hours inland, where there are picnic spots, overnight spots, and fishing. The river is suitable for skiing and canoeing. Canoes can be hired.
