We drove early so can't comment on breakfast, but with no other guests it might have felt a bit lonely. The pool is empty and dirty so could not be used. Rosenhof is in dire need of maintenance.

Rosenhof is a beautiful old country style building decorated with relics of the past. It is not a place to stay if you are looking for modern amenities. The room we stayed in was clean, however the unit was in dire need of maintenance. Taps were loose. Ceiling seriously need to be replaced. The organza bathroom door is a no-no.

I was looking for a quiet place to stay, Rosenhof was it!

I dont get much time off work and also have an ageing Jack Russell. Finding Rosenhof being a pet friendly place was a blessing, as I just wanted a really chilled weekend. The proprietors and the Lady in charge - Poppie are so friendly and the room very comfortable and clean. Once I had checked in they called to see if all was in order and recommended places to eat. Will recommend the establishment for those looking for a lovely quiet place in a lovely quiet town.

Rustig maar plek kort aandag/onderhoud.

Kamer netjies en skoon. Is ontvang deur die huishoudster/bediende by die kombuisdeur en deur die kombuis na ons kamer geneem. Die voordeur was heeltyd gesluit en word nie gebruik nie. Buitekant, veral die swembad, het aandag nodig.

Well worth the stay, wonderful.

Enjoyed every moment. Our room was A1 and the staff friendly. Will definitely be back. So peaceful quiet and serene.
