Featuring a timeless landscape, Samara Karoo Reserve offers guests an off-the-grid safari experience and allows them to fully focus on reconnecting with nature in elegant simplicity. Surrounded by an amphitheatre of mountains, it is ideally located in the Sarah Baartman District 56 km from Graaff-Reinet.

It offers guests a choice of either 10 suites of varying sizes in the Karoo Lodge or 4 cosy suites in The Manor. The Karoo Lodge has 2 family suites that each have a capacity of 4 guests, while the remaining 8 suites can accommodate 2 guests at a time. The 4 suites in The Manor can also accommodate 2 guests each. All bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed and each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, washbasin and toilet.

The suites at the Karoo Lodge open onto a lovely patio with outdoor seating where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner in the evening. The Manor opens up into 2 living areas and 2 smaller breakaway lounging alcoves. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all suites.

All guests have access to communal lounging areas and dining spaces where guests can enjoy their included meals. Samara Karoo Reserve comprises an expansive lodge of breathtaking Big 5 wilderness and offers activities such as game drives, guided walks, wilderness picnics, cheetah tracking on foot, seasonal aardvark spotting, bird watching and hiking.
