A cosy close by stay near Kruger Phabeni Gate.

It was quite nearby to Kruger Phabeni Gate but the area was not very attractive. Rooms were quite good size and with AC and hence had a nice sleep. The attached bath was good but could have been much cleaner. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Overall, a nice place for a night halt.

Het baie lekker daar gebly, was baie skoon en netjies.

Die eenhede is lekker ver uitmekaar en privaat. Die tweeslaapkamer waarin ons gewoon het was baie ruim, skoon en gerieflik. Miskien kan breekware en eetgerei bietjie aandag kry. Oor die algemeen baie lekker gekuier

Stayed in the cabin. Place really needs an update or refresh!

No soap provided at all. Arrived on a rainy afternoon to no electricity for an hour (perhaps not their fault but no explanation or apology offered). No water or ice in the fridge. Linen is old and did not smell clean. Generally place needs a refurbishment.

Gerieflik en naby die Kruger.

Ons het heerlik gebly en was vriendelik verwelkom. Sand River Cottages is skoon en rustig. My kinders het die klimraam en trampolien vreeslik geniet. Perfekte plek om te bly as dagbesoeker aan die Krugerwildtuin.

We had a wonderful stay and were kindly welcomed. Sand River Cottages are clean and peaceful. My children really enjoyed the climbing frame and trampoline. Perfect place to stay as a day visitor to the Kruger National Park.

Lovely, well-equipped family cottages conveniently situated near Phabeni Gate. Lovely hospitality too.

We booked to stay at Sand River Cottages as a one-night stopover on our way to the Kruger National Park. We were so impressed by the cottages and would not hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you to the Shabangu family for their warm welcome!
