Sandown Lodge is a charming 19th Century Georgian Guest House, centrally situated in picturesque surroundings directly opposite Rondebosch Park. Its central location makes it an ideal base for business persons, academics and holiday makers.
Accommodation is offered in 3 spacious, well-appointed double suites one of which is an Upstairs Suite, each with their own en-suite bathroom. All suites are equipped with satellite TV and have free access to WiFi. 100% cotton percale linen and quality beds with electric blankets in winter ensure a good night’s sleep. The suites all have a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave and sink to ensure convenience for guests wanting self-catering. The property has its own water supply from the borehole on-site. They also have solar panels and do not experience loadshedding.
All the suites have their own private, separate entrance with secure off street parking. The suites have access to a pretty secluded garden and braai area which is dominated by a beautiful 180 year old Oak tree. The shade from the tree and the entertainment from the numerous squirrels scurrying for acorns make it a peaceful setting for early morning breakfast, afternoon tea or an evening braai. A continental breakfast can be requested as an optional extra.
Two additional guests can be accommodated within the larger self-catering suites if required.
