SANParks Addo Matyholweni Rest Camp
Description
These open-plan cottages can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. The cottages each contain 2 single beds, a shower en suite, and an open-plan kitchenette, dining and living area. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate stove, bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. There is a dining table and chairs, a couch, a TV with limited DStv channels, and a fan. Outside each cottage is a small deck with outdoor dining furniture and braai facilities.

This camp does not accept cash.
All visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce an identity document, passport or alternative valid identification e.g. driver’s licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Parks.
A standard daily conservation fee of R360 for foreign visitors, R180 for SADC nationals with a valid passport, and R90 for South African Citizens and Residents with ID, will be required on entry to the park.
Please note the office and gate hours:
Matyholweni Reception is open from 07:00 to 16:00 daily.
Matyholweni gate is open from 07:00 to 18:30. A security guard is stationed at the gate 24-hours to allow access to overnight guests to enjoy a dinner or visit the shop in Colchester.
Check-in time for accommodation is 13:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out time on the day of departure is 10:00.
The southern access road to the Addo Main Camp is not accessible to buses and caravans.
There is a height restriction for vehicles on the entrance road to Addo Main Camp of 4.42 metres.
No meals are included in the accommodation rates.
All the accommodation units have plug points available with a 220 v electricity supply. Visitors need to provide their own international adaptors or 2-point plug adaptors.
Accommodation is serviced daily between 09:00 and 12:00.
Cancellation Policy - Custom
Cancelling or downgrading of a reservation 45 days or less prior to, or on, arrival will result in cancellation fees according to a sliding scale, based on the total reservation cost, which varies between 50% and 100%.
