House Rules

This camp does not accept cash.

All visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce an identity document, passport or alternative valid identification e.g. driver’s licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Parks.
A standard daily conservation fee of R240 for foreign visitors, R120 for SADC nationals with a valid passport, and R60 for South African Citizens and Residents with ID, will be required on entry to the park.

The swimming pool in the rest camp is for overnight visitors. There is a swimming pool for day visitors at Fonteinkloof picnic site.
The on-site fully licensed a la carte restaurant is open Monday – Sunday: 7:00 to late (kitchen closes at 21:00).
Unleaded petrol and diesel fuel is available in the Rest Camp from 07h00 - 17h00.
Please note that there is no ATM facility available in the park.
Motorcycles or bicycles are not allowed.
Visitors can only alight from vehicles at restcamp, picnic spots and certain marked areas.
Warm clothes are essential for the winter months.
Remember to bring along a hat, walking shoes, sun block, camera, binoculars and bird and mammal reference books. Hikers on both nature trails and overnight trail must carry sufficient water.

The use of drones inside (and over) our national parks is strictly prohibited.
No smoking is allowed inside the accommodation.
Remember, by feeding any wildlife you are signing their death warrant, as they become aggressive.
As outdoor lighting in camps is limited, a torch/headlamp is required when walking outside at night.
Pets are not allowed in a National Park.

Cancellation Policy - Custom

Cancelling or downgrading of a reservation 45 days or less prior to, or on, arrival will result in cancellation fees according to a sliding scale, based on the total reservation cost, which varies between 50% and 100%.
