Comfortable and good location.

The room was nice and comfortable. However there are other rooms right next door, so when those rooms are rented during your stay it may get a bit awkward. Also, parking is not secure or behind a gate or in a garage, so that made us a bit tense. But all in all conveniently close to shops and had a satisfactory stay.

Clean, however lacking a B&B touch.

This place has a lot of potential. It would be a lot more pleasant if there to actually add tea and coffee to have with the teacups and kettle they've provided. There's cupboards but no other crockery should you wish to eat something there such as cereal etc. Also, there should always be a spare blanket in the cupboard should the need arise. This was more a place to sleep than a bed and breakfast as there was no option for breakfast. Last but not least important, a B&B soap would make the stay more pleasant. I've never been to one where soap etc was not provided. The gent that takes you to you room, Thomas, he's really cool.

The best stay ever.

Had the best weekend ever. Friendly staff, beautiful place, relaxing vibe. Definitely value for money and not expensive at all. Thanks Sardonyx, especially the staff.

We had the worse expierence, very unhappy with our stay at Sardonyx.

Surely will reconsider making bookings. Very bad service. Swimming pool dirty, place doesn't look as welcoming and friendly as advertised. Nothing about our stay was pleasant, didn't enjoy it at all. Very unpleasant place for my partner's birthday and regret every second. Hospitality sucks, guest house is not guest friendly and I was not impressed at all. Cant say thank you, but no thank you, unhappy guest, words cant explain how disappointed I am with my stay at Sardonyx. Dishonest caretakers at Sardonyx.

Dit was baie nice, net ek het nie idea gelike van die sekuriteit wat so heeltyd in ons gesigte was nie.

Die plek is baie nice, maar ek sal meer privaatheid waardeer en die sekuriteit moet sy boundaries ken. Ek het ook nog nie my deposit teruggekry nie.

The accommodation was suitable for what we needed but uncomfortable as the staff used the communal area which was not explained upfront.

I was not happy that the onsite staff had to use the same kitchen and pool area as us. When I booked the entire place I assumed it would only be our party at the premises. Secondly the staff controlled the keys to lock our doors and the main entrance gate. This was a security risk as we did not control the entrance to the place. What really annoyed me was that we had to constantly call the staff to open/close when leaving and returning. We where on vacation and wanted to sleep late but the staff came into the house on the Sat morning at 5am and woke a few people up. This was unacceptable.
