Description
Saxon River Camp offers guests a choice of either camping sites, or a wooden cottage located 14 km outside of Albertinia. The campsite is situated on a private working farm, surrounded by aloes and gorges that will take your breath away.
There are 6 campsites located on the banks of the Vals River, that can accommodate 6 guests each. The sites are ideal for tents as well as caravans, and each one offers a view of the river. There are power points available at each stand and shared ablution facilities with a shower and a gas geyser.
The wooden cottage can accommodate 3 guests and is comfortably furnished with a bunk bed and a single bed. Linens and bath towels are provided, and a shower, toilet, and washbasin are available in the bathroom located next to the unit.
The cottage features an outdoor kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, washing-up facilities, cutlery, and crockery. Guests can enjoy the river view from the deck.
Please note there is no cellphone reception, only on a certain peak of the road that leads to the river.
Guests can enjoy footpaths on the property, and there is a zipline over the river for the adventurous.
