This was our second stay at Scalarhoney Lodge. Love it for its remoteness and off the grid living! You have time to explore the hiking routes or just chill next to the river.

Rustic, off grid, nature, relaxing.

Now this is a location everyone should experience at least once in their lives. It is more off the grid, so come prepared. No signal, which is great as it allows you to fully be present and enjoy the gorgeous mountain views. Very nice to be back in nature.

What an awesome destination, free from cell phones, TV, and WiFi. If that is your kind of weekend, you need to get away from the city life, it's here. You are right next to a river and the water rushing over the rocks will put you to sleep. The water from the river is the best drinking water I have ever tasted. Andre, the owner, with his second in command, takes care of everything. Thank you for everything. See you soon. PS: We need a few more markers for directions to the lodge.
