Disappointing.

We have stayed at several self-catering houses in Hoedspruit and this was by far the worst. The beds' mattresses are rock hard, no chair in rooms to just sit and put on shoes. Kitchen pots, pans etc. are worn out. Not even a braai bowl for meat. The furniture does not fit in the space and is too big. Outside there is only a 6 seater set and inside an 8 seater set although the house can sleep 10 people. No soap dispenser in shower. Porch space had not been cleaned for a long time as there were many cobwebs in the open beams. Swimming pool paint inside the pool shell off. There is a very large ant infestation that can be brought under control by Pest control, however, management used Blue Death powder and lay everywhere in the windowsills, doors entrances etc, and with small children it was very dangerous. Communication with reservation was very good, and management was helpful with other activities' reservation. Unit is along the Air Force Base road which is quite busy.

Badly managed.

Sentosa Place is a beautiful property, but it is badly managed. The bathrooms were dirty and we found dirty water with a dirty mop inside a bucket! There was no toilet papers in the bathrooms! The customer service was also bad as we could not get a hold of the contact person. She called to give us electricity and switched off her phone the whole time. We had no internet and couldn't get hold of her to let her know because her phone was off and unavailable on WhatsApp. One of the rooms had a leaking aircon which flooded the bed, and the door doesn't lock in that same room which opens up to the outside!
