Stone Cottage is a cosy and charming guest house, built in the 1940s, nestled in a beautiful garden in the picturesque village of Deneysville in the Free State. The garden has been carefully maintained in a naturalistic semi-wild state attracting many species of birds, and is undoubtedly one of the most delightful escapes for a weekend getaway.
This unpretentious country cottage has a cheerful electric blend of the quaint and the contemporary. Not only has Stone Cottage the appeal of lively originality, the ambience is warm, and the service dedicated.
Stone Cottage offers accommodation in 2 fully furnished and equipped self-catering units, as well as a bed and breakfast unit, all of which have their own small secluded private gardens and braai facilities. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar are provided on arrival.
Adequate parking is available for boats, trailers, and cars. Guests have full use of the pool as well as the poolside boma and braai area and extensive gardens.
With the use of Stone Cottage’s membership card, free access will be provided to the Water Sports Club, for 1 vehicle with 4 occupants per cottage. The club allows access to the waterfront and has braai-, ablution- and launching facilities, as well as a lovely fishing spot.
