Description

The Summer Place Guest House is set on 4 acres of tranquil, subtropical, park-like gardens in Port Edward. The property is 2 km from the main swimming beach and 6 km from the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino. The area abounds in leisure activities including golf, hiking, horse riding, mountain-biking and cycling and is a good starting point for people taking part in Wild Coast adventure activities. Such adventurers are welcome to leave their vehicles and possessions in our safekeeping and we will provide transport to their starting point.

Accommodation is offered in 5 double en suite rooms. Each room has its own external access, and 4 of the suites can be accessed internally, making them suitable for group or family bookings. All rooms have verandah and patio access. 2 of the rooms have kitchenettes while the remaining 3 rooms have access to a fully equipped kitchen and scullery. These 3 rooms are intended for family or friend groups which means that facilities are not shared with strangers. One room is designed to accommodate guests with physical difficulties. The rooms are serviced daily on weekdays. Uncapped Wi-Fi is available and each room has a work area.

There is a very large swimming pool and 2 brick-built braais. Portable braais are available so that guests can braai anywhere in the garden.

All rooms have good security and CCTV cameras cover the exterior and parking area.
