The Art Box offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a small cottage joined onto a main house where the owners reside. Guests have exclusive use of the cottage, garden, braai area and pool. The Art Box is situated in the picturesque town of Greyton. Originally a labourers cottage on a farm, The Art Box still has its original mud walls dating back to 1893.
The property is situated on a dusty dirt road with access to the main shopping area and restaurants, surrounded by mountains, trees and lovely walks. The cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway or just to recharge your batteries. The property is dog friendly and fully enclosed. Guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and the outside boma area, ideal for braais and enjoying the fresh country air. The pizza oven is also available for cooking, so bring along some pizza bases if you wish.
The property also offers a wonderful outdoor bath and shower both with hot and cold water. There are ample outdoor seating areas as well as a hammock to relax and read. This is the ideal getaway with beautiful green surroundings and birdsong to keep you company.
The cottage comprises a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove and a microwave, and the open-plan living area has a dining table and chairs, and a lounge area. Guests have access to secure parking and free Wi-Fi.
