The Happy Cactus is situated in the old part of Yzerforntein and is surrounded on 2 sides by natural fynbos. The unit is within easy reach of the beach, restaurants and shops. The Happy Cactus is a 6-bedroom house and accommodates 12 guests.

There are 4 bedrooms on the first floor 3 of which are furnished with queen-size beds and the main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and boasts a balcony. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower, the other 3 bedrooms share a bathroom which is fitted with a shower. On the ground floor, the one bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds and a separate bathroom fitted with a shower.

The house comprises a large open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area that leads onto a patio with views of the fynbos. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a kettle, a dishwasher and a juicer. The living area is furnished with a table and chairs. Other facilities include a TV with selected DStv channels, free Wi-Fi, DVD-CD player and an indoor and outdoor braai area. The house provides off-street parking.
