Description
The Karoo Prinia is a charming and homely, restored Karoo-style cottage, situated in the town of Prince Albert. The 3-bedroom cottage is located at the base of the Robert Gordon Koppie.
The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, one of which is en suite with a shower. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the second bedroom contains a double bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. There is a second bathroom with a shower. The cottage also comprises a kitchen and a lounge and dining area. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge and dining area open onto a large sunny verandah with comfy couches and a large table for alfresco dining. The other bedroom has its own private verandah.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, an oven, kettle, toaster, a microwave and a fridge. A wooden viewing deck allows for beautiful sunset or sunrise views, and the cottage also offers braai facilities. All the rooms have ceiling fans. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge area, and electric blankets on all the beds to keep guests warm on those cold Karoo nights. Off-street parking is available and linen and bath towels are provided. Wifi also available.
Batteries and an inverter keep the fans, lights, Wi-Fi and cellphone charging facilities on during loadshedding.
