Description
The Kliphuis is a self-catering cottage located in Moose Valley Nature Reserve, approximately 12 km outside the town of Vanwyksdorp.
This charming stone cottage accommodates up to eight guests and features four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, while the third loft bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The fourth bedroom, also located in the loft, has two single beds. Additionally, two extra mattresses are available for use.
The open-plan, well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, ice machine, 2-plate stove, coffee machine, toaster, crockery and cutlery, as well as a washing machine and tumble-dryer (for owner use only). A built-in braai area can double as a fireplace on cold winter nights. The living area features a dining table and a couch.
From the living area, doors open onto a spacious undercover patio with a built-in braai, outdoor dining table, and a hanging couch. The patio offers beautiful views of the untouched natural surroundings and the Groot River, which flows toward the Gouritz.
Moose Valley spans approximately 7,000 hectares and comprises over 30 individual farms. This unspoiled landscape of scenic valleys, mountains, and Gwarrieveld is nestled between Towerkop, the Swartberg, the Langeberg, and the Kamanassie mountain ranges.
