Description

The Mayflower offers self-catering accommodation in upstairs self-catering studio cabins in Hermanus. The property is well situated in central Hermanus close to town, restaurants and 250 m from the seafront cliff paths. The Mayflower has backup power and is not affected by loadshedding.

The 2 “upper deck cabins”, namely The Port Side and Starboard, can each accommodate 2 adults on a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds on request. A third guest or a child over 8-years old can be accommodated on a sleeper couch. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Each cabin has a small kitchenette that is fitted with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, induction plate, and basic cutlery and crockery. Each cabin has 2-seater dining table and chairs, a TV with selection of DStv channels and a DVD player, and Wi-Fi internet access. Each cabin has an outdoor deck with a weber kettle braai.

Guests are welcome to make use of the plunge pool on the property. Off-street parking is available.

The property is owned by retired Master Mariner Graham Fenn and his artist wife Jenny Bowes Meyer, who have both been in the hospitality industry for 23 years. They have 2 friendly dogs, Paddy and Murphy, who are very gentle and love guests.
