Nestled among tall meadow grass overlooking a picturesque dam, the Meadow Cottage is a luxury self-catering stone cottage that provides a serene escape from city life. This cottage is situated in the Sequoia Garden Retreat, which lies in a valley, surrounded by the hills of Magoebaskloof in Haenertsburg. The cottage is set on 6-hectares of wild and formal gardens from where guests can experience the beauty and the peace of the mountain.

The cottage can be accommodated by a couple for a romantic getaway or 2 adults with 2 children. The cottage is furnished with a queen-size bed and 1 child-only sleeper couch in an open-plan room. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. Hot water is provided via a gas geyser, and bath towels are available. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove and oven, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The cottage opens onto a patio, and braai facilities and limited wood are available for guests to use. The cottage also has a security alarm system to ensure that guests can enjoy their stay safely.
