The Reeds

Number one home away from home.

We enjoyed every minute. WiFi was not working the whole weekend. Daniel tried to assist. He was really sweet. A suggestion would be to make sure that everything is in working order before visitors arrive. All in all, it was an awesome weekend. This is definitely a place to visit again.

Lovely.

Superb location, coupled with the great weather and a sparkling pool, made for a lovely stay. Lots of bird life, walking distance to the lake and Saturday market. Lots of space around the house for kids to run around. We felt very safe in the area. The house had lots of extras: kids' games, swimming pool noodles, load shedding lights, and a washing machine. The WiFi cut out halfway through our stay, but it was no big deal.

Gerieflik, veilig, ideale familie tuiste.

Beslis. Gerieflike uitleg, 3 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers, veilige area, groot swembad, gesinshuis.

Heerlike "trip down Memory Lane". Ons is versot op Sedgefield en waardeer elke oomblik daar.

Die paar dae by The Reeds op die eiland by Sedgefield was vir ons baie aangenaam. Ons het heerlik geslaap en gekuier aangesien die weer vir die eerste paar dae ongelooflik lekker was, amper somersweer. Toe die reën en koue opdaag, was dit ook heerlik om daar te werk en ontspan, danksy die WiFi toegang. Die verblyf was baie gerieflik, skoon en veilig. Die tuin en swembad was netjies en in perfekte toestand. Alhoewel die spiraaltrap na die slaapkamers bo, ietwat van 'n verrassing was, was dit 'n interessante deel van ons verblyf. Alles was in puik toestand en werkende orde. Ons het die herlaaibare lig tydens beurtkrag waardeer. Ons sal graag weer daar wil bly in die toekoms.

Clean and comfortable, well positioned.

The house was comfortable but the main bedroom's bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Huis is skoon en gerieflik. Sentraal geleë om te beweeg na ander omliggende dorpe en besienswaardighede.

Veilige area, kinders het swembad geniet. Huis is ruim en ons het as 6 mense gerieflik gebly vir 'n week. Dankie nogmaals, waardeer.

Extremely basic accommodation in a great town and great location. The house is in need of a huge amount of TLC.

The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool, it looks nothing like the picture above and in much need of refurbishment. The photo should probably be updated to provide a truer reflection of the current situation. File indicated spare light bulbs in the bottom drawer (there was nothing - we bought our own) and matches in the braai box (there weren't any). The air conditioning upstairs was fantastic. The washing machine was a nice surprise - this should be mentioned in the advert. We would advise adding WiFi into the offering, especially in our current digital world. Happy to provide some further feedback if required.

Positive comments: cotton linen would be nice on the beds and perhaps brighter lighting in kitchen, otherwise perfect.

Rustig, goeie omgewing, waarde vir geld.

Lekker wegbreek na besige week. Rustige omgewing. Was goed toegerus. Kinders het veral die swembad geniet. Sal beslis weer kom.

The only disappointment was the green pool which the pool man seemed unable to rectify.

Good value for money a little disappointed with the linen in main bedroom. Wonderful family holiday.

Ons het lekker gebly in The Reeds.

The Reeds is 'n baie ruim huis wat baie goed toegerus is met alles wat jy nodig het.

Heerlik ontspannend.

Uitleg van die huis is 'n heerlike plek vir 'n lekker familie kuier en wegbreek. Alles wat 'n mens benodig is daar!

Privacy, convenience, friendly neighbourhood, awesome manager of The Reed's. Will be back again.

Quiet and value for money, however, braai stand area should be upgraded with sufficient lightning.
