If ever you could rate 6 stars, The Restio deserves it.

Maya and Jonno were superb. The whole place is a dream. You felt the family touch with just the right amount of care and attention to the guests. I understand the place to be young in its existence, but it felt like this whole experience was honed with many years of understanding hospitality service. The guests we had taken along complimented me on my choice (pure Google chance) and have asked me to "lead" the choice for our next outride. My concern is, how the hell do I top this?

Delightful, friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfasts. Generous sized rooms.

Although the house is on the main road through Napier, the rooms were quiet. There is a lovely braai area and a large oak tree to sit under with various sized tables and chairs dotted around. We had a fish braai and before we had arrived had asked whether they would be able to provide various items or should be bring them. All was provided for with no extra costs.

Ek en my skoonsuster het op ons week se sloertoer, die eerste nag by die Restio oorgeslaap. Die ou historiese gebou is met soveel liefde en goeie smaak gerestoureer deur die gawe, gasvrye eienaars. Maya made us feel so welcome and our stay was just the most incredible stay.

We had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, WiFi and the most comfy bed. We were extremely impressed with the service, welcome and hospitality shown.
