Quick family stay-over.

Our family needed a place to overnight whilst travelling between holiday destinations. I was attracted to the Rose Barn because of its farm location (lots of space for the kids to run) and the design aesthetic and booked two adjoining rooms. I think it's a beautiful place, spotless and in a stunning location. Also very well equipped in terms of safety and security. Customer service was very good and we were able to reach out at any time for assistance and advice. We did find the rooms to be haphazardly furnished though - lots of beautiful individual items placed around the room, but no real cupboard space, no surface areas to work on, bar fridges dangerously perched on small tables, and lots of things for little hands to pull down and destroy. The open shower drain has been installed at such a steep angle that one has to very carefully balance oneself in order to not slide down - not making for a very comfortable shower. I would recommend this for short stays for couples, but not families with children, and we wouldn't have been comfortable there for a longer period of time.

We have already made a few changes to ensure the comfort of our guests.
We have a fully-equipped communal area right next to the rooms with ample surfaces to work on, facilities for cooking, a braai, television, comfortable couches and a fridge.
We hope to welcome you back to the Rose Barn sometime shortly.
