Description
The Roughed Cottage is a cosy self-catering cottage for 4 people on a farm of the R62 between Montagu and Barrydale.
The rustic cottage is powered by 12-volt solar and gas, and is not equipped with electricity. The cottage comprises 1 bedroom, a kitchen and a lounge, and has outdoor bathroom facilities.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and 2 single beds, and guests please need to bring their own bedding and towels. The bathroom is located outside the cottage, and is fitted with a shower and a toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a 2-plate gas stove, cutlery and crockery, as well as a dining area and opens onto a covered stoep with a built-in braai area. The cottage does not have Wi-Fi access but cellphone reception is available. Pets are welcome with prior arrangements. There is a splash pool to cool off in.
There is a special hiking trail and mountain bike trails on the farm.
