Description

The Storytellers offers tented accommodation for guests who are looking for an outdoor glamping experience set between The Pakhuis Mountain. The Agter-Pakhuis Valley marks the northern reach of the Cederberg mountains as they fade out into the rolling hills of the Karoo.

Accommodation is offered in two tented units, namely the Dassie Den Glamping and the Tortoise Terrace Glamping units. The Dassie Den Glamping can sleep 5 guests and comprises 1 double bed, 2 single beds in a separate tent, and 1 bunk bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower and toilet. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a small 2-plate gas stove, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a gas heater, as well as couches and extra seating, where guests can relax and enjoy the views.

The Tortoise Terrace Glamping can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 queen-size bed, and 1 bunk bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchenette is in the wooden structure adjacent to the tent and is equipped with a fridge, 2-plate gas stove, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a verandah which has outdoor furniture.

This accommodation is home to several unique plant and wildflower species, as well as leopard, rooikat, baboon, mountain hare, porcupine and a plethora of other wild creatures. The valley also hosts incredible sites of archaeological interest.
