Exactly what you need after a long day on the road.

Lovely spot to stay over in Elliot. Large, fenced, grassy area for the dogs to run in. The property also has a restaurant and coffee shop. The host offers breakfast and dinner which can be left in your room - a saving grace if you're arriving in Elliot later at night when all the shops are closed. Will stay here again on our frequent drives between Western Cape and KZN.

Restful, quiet, secure and luxurious accommodation.

The accommodation was an absolute relaxing, peaceful and luxurious haven after a day of road travel. Our host met us at the gate upon our arrival and had our delicious evening meals waiting for us in our rooms. Our host was most accommodating when, at short notice, I changed the bedding requirements due to a change of guest. The kitchenette was well-equipped and the coffee station was well stocked, including fresh milk and rusks. The rooms and parking area, which were situated alongside a forest of trees, were quiet and secure. After a restful night's sleep, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and coffee at the quaint coffee shop shed.

Perfect stop over on our drive from WC to KZN.

Lovely. Easy to find, comfortable, with everything we needed, including plenty of space for the dogs to stretch their legs. We also managed to order a delicious dinner ahead of time - very helpful when arriving later because everything in town was closed.

Perfek, na 'n lang dag op die pad.

Na 'n lang rit op die pad, was dit so lekker daar. Ons het ook aandete bestel, ons kon net rus toe ons daar gestop het. Alles was perfek, beddens tot kombuis en badkamer.

Ons het baie lekker gebly.

Megan was baie behulpsaam met vrae wat ons gehad het oor die omgewing en roetes wat ons eerder moes vat i. p. v. die roete wat Google Maps voorgestel het.

Heerlik oorgebly. Het die warm kombers baie waardeer!

Baie lekker gebly. En lekker ontbyt geëet die volgende oggend.

Lekker en gerieflik oorgeslaap.

Eenheid baie gerieflik en goed toegerus en in 'n mooi omgewing geleë. Die koffiewinkel op dié perseel is baie gerieflik vir maaltye as jy nie self wil kook nie.

I only used it as a stopover on a longer trip but will stay over there again next time, really happy!

Accommodation was ok.

The accommodation was ok. It was a bit annoying when we arrived, we had to rush to get the kids' dinner done and shower before loadshedding as they don't have water during loadshedding. I requested the single beds to be pushed together as a king-size but they left the linen on as single beds, so there was a gap between the beds. The bathroom door kept falling off its rails. We couldn't find the coffee shop.

Die gasvrou was baie behulpsaam, ons het aandete bestel en toe ons by Tree House kom was die 2 etes lekker voorberei.

Ek was glad nie happy met die matrasse nie. Dit is pap en die bed aan die regterkant se springs kan gevoel word. So nie een van ons het lekker geslaap nie. Die res van die unit was baie skoon en netjies.

Little gem in Elliot.

Lovely setting with friendly staff and a cosy room for our stopover en-route to the Karoo. The adjoining coffee shop provided delicious meals without the need to drive anywhere.

Verblyf was skoon, netjies en gemaklik. Baie vriendelike en hulpvaardige ontvangs.

The owner welcomed us. The room was simple and clean. Good shower. Nice kitchenette with all one needs.

Our overnight stay was mediocre. The venue is overpriced for the space and probably because there are not many decent options in Elliot. The road leading to the Guesthouse is not great.

Gasvrou was onmiddelik beskikbaar en baie gaaf. Ons plekkie was reg en alles was beskikbaar. Ook gerat vir beurtkrag.

Megan was such a lovely hostess and we ordered our supper from the Coffee Shop and it was delicious. Will definitely stay again.

Halfway from Durban to Cape St Francis. Very comfortable, self-catering, with everything you need. Secure behind locked gates etc.

Twee aande oorgebly tydens 'n besoek aan Elliot. Alles was skoon en volgens verwagting.

Tree House Guest House is as good as it gets in Elliot. Die dorp self is nie in 'n goeie toestand nie, maar hierdie verblyf is skoon en netjies, met alles wat jy nodig het. Sou ons Elliot weer besoek, sal ons weer daar oorbly.

The Tree House Coffee Shop and Guesthouse het ons vriendelik ontvang rondom 17:00 nadat daar met ons kontak gemaak is via Whatsapp rondom 08:00. Megan het vir ons 'n menu gestuur, asook 'n pin drop ens. Die eenhede is baie netjies en bevat alles wat jy benodig vir selfsorg. Ons sal beslis weer daar oornag. Let wel, die pad na die gastehuis is maar rof, indien jy met 'n kar sou ry. Slaggate en teeroppervlak wat nie meer bestaan nie. Dit is darem nie vêr nie.

'n Heerlike oornagplek.

Geleë aan die rand van Elliot maar tog loopafstand van die dorp. Fantastiese menu om van te kies vir beide aandete en ontbyt, wat meer wil jy hê. Ruim kamer met alles om gemaklik te wees.

Lovely stay.

It's a good place to stay if you looking for a decent place to stay over when visiting the neighboring areas. Clean, neat, and safe cottage. The owner is a lovely welcoming lady. Housekeeping was provided every day with fresh milk and rusks delivered. Had an unlimited Wifi connection. Have all the essential amenities.

The bedding was crisp and clean and the rooms were safe and secure. The food that we ordered was really tasty.

We recommend this as a happy landing place after a long drive. The unit is spacious and well appointed and very adequately equipped. The bed is very comfortable, the shower hot and the space roomy. My best part was sitting on the stoep every opportunity I could. Could have been sitting in the woods. Birdsong, wind blowing in trees, nature at its best and at night a Camelot experience. It rained all night.

Alhoewel daar geen probleem met die verblyf is nie, is die pad van die hoofpad na die eenhede toe in 'n baie slegte toestand. Dalk net die besigheidsure van die koffiewinkel op die spyskaart in die eenheid aandui. Nie veel plekke om kos na ure te kry nie. Beurtkrag.

Ideal overnight stop.

This was the perfect overnight stop after a long day of driving. Don’t be dissuaded by the ‘roughness’ of the neighbourhood as it is very secure. Meals can be preordered and delivered to your room so that you don’t have to go out again to try find. Cottages look very new. Coffee shop was also a great stop on way back for tea, scones and a toilet stop (not much else in Elliott). Will definitely be back.
