It was mediocre.

The reception staff was welcoming and extremely friendly, and assisted efficiently in all that we needed. However, when it comes to housekeeping, we were really disappointed. They didn't replace our towels in time, they did not make up the bed sheets thoroughly, and there was no dedicated effort from the housekeeping staff members. We did not have a telephone to call the receptionist for services, so we utilized our own personal phones. We were extremely disappointed that there were no Smart TVs; we entertained ourselves using our own laptops for Netflix. Even B&Bs have Smart TVs nowadays. To keep our drinks and other things cold, we had to go downstairs to ask the restaurant, as we did not have our own fridge in the room. They should install small bar fridges to make life easier, as we had to move from the 6th floor to the ground floor to use the fridge.

Awesome.

Everything was lovely. Only negatives: WiFi a bit unreliable. No fridge in the room, which is a bit of an annoyance. Staff always there to assist and even assisted with late checkout. Buttons on lift are a bit hard to push. Consider providing liquid shampoo and body wash instead of those hard soaps.

Great location. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Whenever you called for something, you would get quick assistance and the place is kept clean and neat.

Satisfied but can work on check-in.

I had a 2-night stay and it was great. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant, the location was central, the staff is friendly, and the hotel room was satisfactory. My only issue was the check-in. We waited 1.5 hours just to be allocated a room.

Marvellous!

We loved the location of the hotel, everything is just around us. The hotel staff is super friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was the Buffer Meal. Please improve that. We didn't get the value for money.

Perfect to relax while enjoying the breathtaking views.

We enjoyed our two nights at Town Lodge Port Elizabeth. The service was great, very clean and staff was very helpful. Just wish the pool was open until later instead of 20:00.

Brilliant location.

The stay was great, however they could improve reaction to queries at reception. Roxanne was amazing, her service was just impeccable as well as the breakfast team on the morning of the 29th, they were great and attentive.
