Located in an unspoilt area where the bushveld meets the Kalahari, Tumbeta Private Game Reserve is a malaria-free reserve located 3 and a half hours from Pretoria in the northwest portion of the Limpopo. The lodge is ideal for large groups or a romantic getaway as it offers exceptional game-viewing and bird-watching opportunities.

This reserve offers guests a choice of either 3 family suites which can each accommodate 6 guests or 3 Standard Units which have a capacity of 2 guests. Each family suite is furnished with a central king-size bed as well as a double bed on either side of the suite. A bath, shower, double vanity and toilet are available in the en-suite bathroom. Additionally, these suites include an outdoor shower as well as a living area with comfortable seating and a fireplace.

Each Standard Unit is furnished with a central king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All guests have full access to the main lodge which includes 2 guest lounges, a gym, a bar and a large kitchen which is fully equipped for self-catering. Additionally, this reserve spoils with a star gazing boma, a waterhole braai area with a large swimming pool and an outside lounge. Access to free Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas.

Activities at Tumbeta Private Game Reserve include a morning game drive as well as an evening game drive. Game walks are also available on request with prior arrangements. A private chef is also available at an additional cost.
