Unfortunately, my wife was in the hospital and, being a man, I overlooked a few things like inspecting the cutlery, something we have since addressed with our staff. So, our sincerest apologies for this lapse, as this is not our standard.
Regarding the missing items, items such as scissors and hair dryers have been removed from rooms but are available upon request.
As for the shower gel, it is freely available for our guests, though as a self-catering guesthouse, we expect guests to bring their own toiletries. It is provisioned for emergencies in case guests forget to bring theirs, which was a misunderstanding on our part.
Our respect for our guest's privacy is paramount, and I apologise for not checking this.
We do hope to see you again for our real 'home away from home' experience and to demonstrate our care for our guests.
