Description
Twyfelberg Karoo Hideaway is a charming, off-the-grid farmhouse that is situated on a tranquil farm, approximately 30km off the N12. This serene Karoo farmhouse is the perfect spot to unwind, and is surrounded by picturesque scenery, unspoiled nature and silence.
This eclectically decorated, off-the-grid, solar-powered farmhouse is only accessible by a 4x4 or high-clearance 2x4 vehicles, and consists of 3 en-suite bedrooms. The main and second bedrooms each contain a king-size bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower or a bath, a basin, and a toilet. The well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, an oven and a stove.
The dining room offers a large table with seating, where guests can enjoy their meals together. The lounge features couches to relax on and a large wood-burning fireplace. The living area leads out onto a patio, which has a seating area overlooking the tranquil farm.
For those who do not feel like cooking, delectable meals can be arranged at various costs.
The farmhouse is situated approximately 25 km from central Britstown and 41 km from central De Aar; in the middle of nowhere, with a view of the barren Karoo landscape that is the perfect for artists, writers or even just souls seeking a bit of peace and quiet from busy city life.
