Description
Ulwazi Rock Lodge is situated in the breathtaking Kiepersol Valley, and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a lovely lodge built on a natural rock foundation, offering spectacular views of its natural surroundings. Located on a peaceful family farm, the lodge is the ideal destination for short escapes from the city, as well as long family getaways with easy access to all the popular attractions of the Lowveld.
This self-catering lodge can accommodate up to 12 guests and comprises 6 en-suite bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each, that can be converted to king-size beds on request. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with either a bath or shower.
The spacious, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area adds to the serenity of the lodge. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need and more plus a laundry fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, and iron for guests' convenience. The lounge is equipped with a TV with selected DSTV channels. Additional features include braai facilities, and an indoor swimming pool which is structured around a natural rock. Secure on-site parking.
The farm offers activities such as bass fishing, bird watching, and mountain biking routes, and is just 6 km from Hazyview, the gateway to the renowned Kruger National Park, as well as the Blyde River Canyon and Sabi Sand Game Reserve. It is also near all activities in Hazyview such as Skyway Trails, river rafting, quad biking and horse riding to name a few.
